Major Norton, known by his stage name Dubee, is an American rapper. He comes from Vallejo, California.
About Dubee
Dubee has been a part of the rap music scene in the Northern California Bay Area for a long time. Before becoming a rapper, he was a talented football player. He played as a running back for the City College of San Francisco's football team. He was very good, ranking 4th in the college's history for rushing yards in a single season. He also ranked 8th for his total career rushing yards.
In 1995, Dubee signed his first music deal. He joined Young Black Brotha Records, a label owned by local producer Khayree Shaheed. His first album was called Dubee AKA Sugawolf. It was released through Atlantic Records. Dubee has often worked with other musicians from Northern California and beyond. Some of his early collaborators included Ray Luv and Young Lay, who were also on the same record label.
