Major Norton, who is better known by his stage name Dubee, is an American rapper from the San Francisco Bay Area in California.

From Football to Music

Before he became a famous rapper, Major Norton was a talented football player. He played for the City College of San Francisco's team as a running back. He was very good and is still remembered as one of the college's top players. He ranks 4th for the most rushing yards in a single season and 8th for career rushing yards at the college.

In 1995, Dubee decided to focus on music. He signed a record deal with Young Black Brotha Records, a local record label started by producer Khayree Shaheed. Through this label, he released his first album, Dubee A.K.A. Sugawolf.

Over the years, Dubee has worked with many other musicians from Northern California, including his label mates Ray Luv and Young Lay.
