Dull is a small place in Ohio, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it does not have its own local government, like a city or town. Dull is located in Liberty Township, within Van Wert County. It is about 2.5 miles (4 km) west-southwest of Ohio City.
The Story of Dull
Dull wasn't always called Dull! When this community was first planned in 1879, it was known as McKee. A man named J. M. Dull and some other people helped create this community.
How Dull Got Its Name
A post office was opened in 1880. At that time, the community officially became known as Dull. The post office stayed open until 1909. Sometimes, people even call this place Dulltown.
