Dušan Petrović (born September 8, 1966) is a Serbian politician. He used to be a member of the Democratic Party. He served as a government minister twice. From 2011 to 2012, he was the Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry, and Water Management. Before that, from 2007 to 2008, he was the Minister of Justice. Later, he led a new party called Together for Serbia from 2013 to 2016.

About Dušan Petrović
Dušan Petrović grew up in Šabac, his hometown. He went to elementary and high school there. After that, he studied law at the University of Belgrade's Law School.
Early Career and Public Service
From 1992 to 2000, Dušan Petrović worked as a lawyer. This job helped him understand laws and how the legal system works.
In 2000, he became the mayor of Šabac. He served in this role until 2004. During this time, he also worked as a deputy in the national parliament.
Political Journey
Dušan Petrović joined the Democratic Party in 1992. He slowly moved up in the party.
- In 1996, he became a local council member in Šabac.
- By 2000, he was a member of the party's main leadership group.
- In 2006, he became one of the party's vice-presidents.
- Later in 2006, he became the deputy president to the party's chairman, Boris Tadić.
In 2003, he was elected to the National Assembly of Serbia. There, he led the Democratic Party's group of deputies. From 2003 to 2007, he was also the vice-president of the Assembly.
Serving as a Minister
After the 2007 elections, Dušan Petrović became the Minister of Justice. He held this important position from 2007 to 2008. As Minister of Justice, he was in charge of the country's legal system.
Later, from 2011 to 2012, he served as the Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry, and Water Management. This role involved overseeing many important areas for the country.
