ECW December to Dismember facts for kids
December to Dismember was a special wrestling show. It was first held by a wrestling company called Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1995. This first show was not shown on TV. It was a big event called a Supercard, which means it had many important matches.
Later, in 2006, another wrestling company, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), brought back the December to Dismember name. They held it as a pay-per-view (PPV) event. This means people paid to watch it live on TV, like a special movie or concert. This event was part of WWE's ECW brand, which was a specific group of wrestlers within WWE.
The WWE planned to have another December to Dismember show in 2007. However, they cancelled it in February 2007. The exact reasons for the cancellation are not known. This happened after WWE started having all its pay-per-view events feature wrestlers from all three of its main brands at the time.
