EY Plaza, also known as Ernst & Young Plaza, is a very tall building called a skyscraper in Los Angeles, California. It stands 534 feet (163 meters) high. This impressive building has 41 floors and was finished in 1985. It is currently the 18th tallest building in Los Angeles.

The building is owned by a company called Brookfield Properties Inc. It was designed by a famous architecture firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. You might have even seen this building in a movie! Even though it's in California, it was shown as part of the New York City skyline in the film The Day After Tomorrow.

History of EY Plaza

When EY Plaza was finished in October 1985, it was first known as Citicorp Center. It became the main office in California for a big financial company called Citicorp. The building was also a key part of a larger area called Citicorp Plaza. This area also included a shopping mall known as Seventh Market Place.
