East Gordon is a small area, or locality, within the larger suburb of Gordon. It's part of the big city of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
This area is located about 13 kilometres north-west of the very centre of Sydney, known as the Sydney Central Business District. It falls under the care of the Ku-ring-gai Council, which is a type of local government that helps manage the area.

One of the most interesting things about East Gordon is that it's home to Sydney's largest colony of flying foxes. These amazing creatures are a type of bat, but they mostly eat fruit and nectar. They live together in a deep valley, or ravine, in East Gordon.
