Joining The Colony

On April 7, 1987, the people of Eastvale voted on whether to join The Colony. The vote was very close: 75 people voted yes, and 71 voted no. The "yes" votes won!

For the consolidation to happen, the people in The Colony also had to agree. They voted on August 8. A large number of people in The Colony supported the idea. Out of 1,266 votes, 999 (about 79%) were in favor of joining. Soon after these votes, Eastvale officially became part of The Colony.
