Eby is a small, unincorporated community located in Hart Township, Warrick County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. An unincorporated community is a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town.
History of Eby
Eby once had its own post office. It opened in 1870. People used it to send and receive mail. But it closed down in 1903.
Historians believe Eby was named after someone who lived there. One idea is that it was named after Abraham Eby. He was a soldier from Warrick County. He sadly died during the Civil War.
