Becoming "The Brain"

As a manager, Creatchman had a unique style. He was known for wearing cool sunglasses and smoking a cigar. He also often wore a Star of David. Creatchman was great at promoting his wrestlers. He helped them get noticed, especially if they weren't good at interviews.

He became very famous on the wrestling scene in Quebec. There, he managed big names like The Sheik and Abdullah the Butcher. In 1970, while managing The Sheik, he created a lot of excitement at the Montreal Forum. The Sheik was so impressed that he brought Creatchman to Detroit to keep managing him.

Managing Stars in the 1980s

In the 1980s, Creatchman continued to manage top wrestlers. He worked with Steve Strong in Montreal for a company called International Wrestling. Strong had exciting matches against wrestlers like Abdullah the Butcher and Rick Martel. During this time, Creatchman also managed The Great Samu and Sheik Ali.

Creatchman and his son, Floyd, even owned International Wrestling for a couple of years. They ran the company from 1986 to 1987.

Eddie's Life Outside Wrestling

Besides his wrestling career, Eddie Creatchman owned a business. He ran a scrap metal company with his wife, Goldie. They got married in 1949. Sadly, Goldie passed away in 1985.
