Eddie B. Robinson Jr. (born April 19, 1976) is a former professional basketball player from America. He played as a shooting guard and small forward. Eddie is very tall, standing at 6 feet 9 inches. He played for five seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1999 to 2004. In April 2017, Eddie Robinson was honored. He was inducted into the NJCAA Hall of Fame. This special event happened in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Eddie Robinson's Basketball Journey
Playing in the NBA
After attending the University of Central Oklahoma, Eddie Robinson started his NBA career. He signed with the Charlotte Hornets in 1999. He was known for his amazing jumping ability and athleticism. For two seasons, he played as a reserve player for the Hornets. He averaged 7.2 points per game.
His skills caught the eye of Jerry Krause, the general manager for the Chicago Bulls. Krause believed Robinson could become a star player. In 2001, the Bulls signed Robinson to a big contract. He played his final NBA game on March 31, 2004. This game was against the Orlando Magic.
Playing in the D-League
After his time in the NBA, Eddie Robinson continued to play basketball. On November 2, 2006, he was chosen by the Idaho Stampede. This was in the 2006 NBDL Draft. During the 2006–07 season, Robinson played well for the Idaho Stampede. He averaged more than 15 points per game. After this season, he left the team.
He was later selected again in the 2008 NBA D-League Draft. This time, the Albuquerque Thunderbirds picked him. However, he did not sign a contract with them.
Playing in Canada
On September 19, 2011, it was announced that Robinson would play in Canada. He signed with the Halifax Rainmen. This team is part of the National Basketball League of Canada. He was placed on the injured reserve list on November 1.
Eddie played his first game for the Rainmen on November 27, 2011. This game was against the Oshawa Power. He scored 18 points in his first game. He left the team in January 2012.
Big3 Basketball League
In 2017, Eddie Robinson joined a new basketball league. He signed with the Killer 3's team. This league is called Big 3 Basketball. It was created by the famous musician Ice Cube.

Eddie Robinson lives in Halifax, Canada, with his wife Jillian and their son. He decided to settle in the area after playing for the Rainmen. He later became a Canadian citizen. This means he has dual citizenship for both Canada and the United States. He also spends time in Houston, Texas. His sisters and his three other children from a previous marriage live there.
