Edenton is a small community located in Wayne Township, within Clermont County, Ohio. It's not an official city or village, but a close-knit group of homes and businesses. You can find Edenton where two state roads, Route 133 and Route 727, meet. A cool place called Stonelick State Park is also very close by.
A Look Back: Edenton's History
Edenton was first planned and designed in 1837. This means someone carefully laid out the streets and plots of land for the community. Later, in 1848, a post office was opened in Edenton. This was an important place where people could send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years, finally closing its doors in 1983.
