Edi Mūe Gathegi (born on March 10, 1979) is an actor from Kenya and America. He is known for many roles in movies and TV shows. You might have seen him as Dr. Jeffrey Cole in the TV series House. He also played Laurent in the Twilight movies.
Edi Gathegi was also Darwin in the film X-Men: First Class. He appeared in the TV show Into the Badlands as Baron Jacobee. He played Matias Solomon in The Blacklist and its spin-off, The Blacklist: Redemption. More recently, he starred in StartUp and For All Mankind. He is also set to play Mister Terrific in the upcoming Superman movie.

Edi Gathegi was born in Nairobi, Kenya. He grew up in Albany, California, in the U.S. He went to the University of California, Santa Barbara. There, he played basketball.
A knee injury ended his basketball career. After that, Edi started taking acting classes. He then studied acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He graduated in 2005.
