Playing for Yomiuri
From 1986 to 1990, Edson played for a team called Yomiuri. This club was part of the top football league in Japan at the time, the Japan Soccer League Division 1. During these years, he played in many matches and helped his team.
Time with Fujita Industries and Bellmare Hiratsuka
After Yomiuri, Edson moved to Fujita Industries. He played for them from 1990 to 1995. The team later changed its name to Bellmare Hiratsuka.
