Eduardo Guillermo Bonvallet Godoy (born January 13, 1955 – died September 18, 2015) was a famous Chilean football player. He played as a defensive midfielder. After his playing career, he became a well-known sports commentator.

Eduardo Bonvallet was known for his strong and direct opinions. He often shared his thoughts on Chilean football players and coaches. He also had experience coaching university teams.

Eduardo Bonvallet played for big teams in Chile. These included Universidad de Chile and Universidad Católica. He also played in the NASL. There, he played for teams like Tampa Bay Rowdies and Fort Lauderdale Strikers.

Playing for Chile

Bonvallet first played for the Chilean national team in 1979. He played in 24 international games. He did not score any goals for the national team. He played in a FIFA World Cup qualification match. He also played in three games at the 1982 FIFA World Cup.

Coaching Teams

In 2007, Bonvallet became the manager of Deportivo Temuco. This was a professional team in the second division. The team was struggling when he took over. Even with his efforts, the team faced challenges. They moved to a lower division.
