His First Marriage

Edward Parker's first wife was Elizabeth Stanley. She was the daughter of William Stanley, who was also a Baron. Edward and Elizabeth had two children:

  • William Parker, who later became the 13th Baron Morley. He was known for his connection to the famous Gunpowder Plot.
  • Frances Parker, who married Christopher Danby. They lived in Yorkshire.

Frances Parker's Marriage

Frances Parker's marriage to Christopher Danby in 1607 was a bit complicated. There were some disagreements about money that was promised as part of their marriage.
