Ege Bagatur (born February 22, 1937 – died November 16, 1990) was a Turkish politician. He served as the mayor of Adana, a large city in Turkey, from 1973 to 1977. A mayor is the leader of a city or town, responsible for its daily operations and future plans.

Ege Bagatur was born in Adana in 1937. He spent his early life and completed his first and second levels of schooling there.
Education and Early Career
In 1961, Ege Bagatur finished his studies at Ankara University's law school. After becoming a lawyer, he completed his required military service. In 1965, he began working as a lawyer in his hometown of Adana.
Becoming the Mayor of Adana
Ege Bagatur decided to enter politics. He joined the Republican People's Party (CHP), which is a political group in Turkey. In 1973, when he was 36 years old, he was elected as the mayor of Adana. He held this important position for four years, until 1977. As mayor, he would have been in charge of many things that affect the city, like public services and local projects.
Later Life
After his time as mayor ended in 1977, Ege Bagatur went back to his work as a lawyer. He continued to practice law until he passed away in 1990.
