Eichstätt is a special kind of area in Bavaria, Germany. It's called a Landkreis, which is like a district or county. Think of it as a big region with many towns and villages.
This district is in the southern part of a cool area called the Frankish Alb. This is a low mountain range with lots of hills and valleys. A huge part of the Eichstätt district, about 80%, is inside the Altmühltal Nature Park. This park is famous for its beautiful nature, old castles, and interesting rock formations. It's a great place for outdoor adventures!
What is a German District?
