Eiji Takada was born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. After finishing his studies at Waseda University, he was ready to start his journey in professional football.
Joining Kawasaki Frontale
In 1997, Eiji joined a team called Kawasaki Frontale. At that time, they were part of the Japan Football League. Eiji played as a defensive midfielder. This means his main job was to help protect his team's goal and stop the other team from scoring.
Rising to the Top Leagues
Eiji's hard work and skill helped his team a lot. In 1999, Kawasaki Frontale achieved a big goal: they were promoted to a new league called the J2 League. Eiji became a regular player that year, meaning he played in most of the team's games.
