Eiji Takada (born October 21, 1974) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder.
Eiji Takada's Football Journey
Eiji Takada was born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, on October 21, 1974. After finishing his studies at Waseda University, he started his professional football career.
In 1997, he joined the Japan Football League club Kawasaki Frontale. Eiji mostly played as a defensive midfielder, helping his team protect their goal.
His hard work paid off! In 1999, Kawasaki Frontale was promoted to the new J2 League. Eiji became a regular player that year. The team performed very well, winning the J2 League championship. This victory meant they were promoted again, this time to the top league, J1 League, in 2000.
However, playing in the J1 League was tough. Eiji didn't get to play many matches in 2000, and unfortunately, Kawasaki Frontale was relegated back to J2 League after just one year. He left the club at the end of the 2001 season.
After a break, Eiji joined Japan Soccer College in 2004. He played for two seasons there before deciding to retire from professional football at the end of the 2005 season.
