Eileen Hazell was born in Surrey, England, in 1903. When she was 25 years old, in 1928, she moved to Canada. She went to school at the Central Technical School in Toronto to learn more about art.
Her Amazing Art: Pottery and Ceramics
Eileen Hazell was best known for her work as a ceramicist. A ceramicist is an artist who makes things from clay, like pottery, using heat to make them strong. Her art was shown all over the world and in Canada.
