Eitan Tibi, born on November 16, 1987, is a professional football player from Israel. He plays as a centre-back (a defender) for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the Israeli Premier League. He also plays for the Israel national team.

Early Life
Eitan Tibi was born in Jerusalem, Israel.
Club Career
Eitan Tibi started playing football in the youth teams of Beitar Haifa and Maccabi Netanya. In 2006, when he was 19, he signed with Beitar Jerusalem. He was loaned out to Hapoel Ra'anana in 2007 and then to HaKoach Ramat Gan in 2008 to get more playing time.
In 2009, Tibi returned to Beitar Jerusalem and played 21 league games. After that, he signed a two-year contract with a Belgian team called Charleroi. He played 9 games there but decided to return to Israel.
In January 2011, Tibi joined Ironi Kiryat Shmona. He was a very important player when Ironi Kiryat Shmona won their first historic championship title in 2012. They also won the Toto Cup that year.
Playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv
On August 29, 2012, Eitan Tibi signed a three-year contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv. He joined the team after some talks about his contract. He played his first game for Maccabi on September 3, 2012.
Tibi quickly became a key defender for Maccabi Tel Aviv. He played 34 times in the league during the 2012-13 season. He scored his first goal for Maccabi on March 2, 2013. That season, he won his second championship title in a row, and his first with Maccabi Tel Aviv. In July 2013, he played his first game in a European competition, the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. Maccabi later qualified for the Europa League.
Tibi had a great start to the 2013-14 season. His team, Maccabi Tel Aviv, set a new record in the Israeli Premier League. They did not let any goals in until the 7th game of the season! He won another championship with Maccabi that season. In the 2014-15 season, he helped Maccabi win their third championship in a row. They also won the State Cup and the Toto Cup that year.
In 2015-16, Tibi and Maccabi qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stage, which is a big achievement. However, they lost the Israeli Premier League championship to Hapoel Be'er Sheva that season. At the end of the season, he signed a new contract with Maccabi for three more years.
Joining Hapoel Be'er Sheva
On June 28, 2021, Tibi signed a two-year contract with Hapoel Be'er Sheva. He helped them win the State Cup in 2022 and the Super Cup in 2022.
International Career
In 2012, Eitan Tibi played his first game for the Israel national team in a friendly match against the Czech Republic. Because he played so well for his club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, he became a regular player for the national team. He scored his first international goal on October 7, 2017, against Liechtenstein during a World Cup qualification game.
