Ejike Uzoenyi played for several football clubs during his career. He started his journey in Nigeria. He also played in France and South Africa.
Early Career in Nigeria
Uzoenyi began his club career in Nigeria. He played for Enyimba from 2005 to 2008. After that, he joined Rangers International in 2008. He stayed with Enugu Rangers for several years.
Playing in France
In 2013, Uzoenyi had a chance to play in France. He joined Rennes on a loan. A loan means a player temporarily moves to another club. He also played for Rennes' second team, Rennes II.
Moving to South Africa
In February 2014, Ejike Uzoenyi signed with Mamelodi Sundowns. This is a big club in South Africa. He stayed with Enugu Rangers on loan for a few more months. Then, he officially moved to South Africa in June 2014. He played for Mamelodi Sundowns until 2017.
Later in 2017, he joined another South African club, Bidvest Wits. After that, he played for Ajax Cape Town. He left Ajax Cape Town in December 2017.
Return to Football
After some time, Uzoenyi returned to playing football. In February 2020, he signed with Zvijezda 09. This club was in the top league of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the time. He made his first game for Zvijezda 09 in February 2020.
In 2020, Uzoenyi returned to Nigeria. He joined Sunshine Stars. Later, he played for Enugu Rangers again. He played for Enugu Rangers until 2023.

Ejike Uzoenyi also played for his country, Nigeria. He represented the Nigeria national team.
Debut and Major Tournaments
He made his first international appearance for Nigeria in 2012. He played in matches that helped Nigeria try to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
In 2013, he was chosen to be part of Nigeria's team for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. This is a very important football tournament in Africa. Nigeria won this tournament in 2013!
Uzoenyi was also part of Nigeria's team for the 2014 African Nations Championship. He played so well that he was named the most valuable player of the tournament.
