She served as the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia. She started this important role on June 18, 2019. Her ministry managed the biggest budget among all government departments.

She stepped down from her position on December 9, 2021. She stayed in office until early 2022 to ensure a smooth handover. After leaving her ministerial role, she shared her plans to continue working as a political advisor for the Georgian Dream party.
