Eleni Menegaki (Greek: Ελένη Μενεγάκη; born October 29, 1969) is a famous Greek TV presenter. In 2010, Forbes magazine said she was one of the most powerful and important celebrities in Greece. She was also the top-ranked woman on their list!

Starting Out: MEGA Channel (1991–1994)

Eleni Menegaki began her career as a model in 1988. She appeared in photoshoots, TV ads, and music videos. In 1991, she joined the morning show "Proino Cocktail" on MEGA Channel. A year later, she co-hosted the very popular game show "MEGA Banca" with Giorgos Polichroniou.

Becoming a Star: ANT1 (1992–2005)

In 1994, Eleni starred in the successful comedy TV show "Pater Imon" on ANT1. She played a radio producer in the show. The next year, she started hosting the morning show Proinos Kafes. She hosted this show for 10 years, and it was a huge hit! People soon called her the "Queen of the morning zone" because she was so popular.

New Home: ALPHA TV (2005–2020)

In 2005, Eleni left ANT1 and moved to Alpha TV. She became the hostess of the morning show "Kafes me tin Eleni." At first, the show didn't have many viewers. But soon, it became very successful, especially with young people aged 15–44. In its last season (2010-2011), "Kafes me tin Eleni" had its lowest ratings.

In 2011, Eleni's show changed its time to 1:00 PM. It also got a new name: "Eleni." The number of viewers for this show went up and down. In May 2020, she announced that this would be her last season. She decided to take a break from TV.

Back to MEGA Channel (2021–2024)

In April 2021, MEGA Channel announced that Eleni Menegaki would return. She would present a new show on weekdays at 1:00 PM. This show was also called "Eleni." In July 2024, she decided to stop working in daytime television.

Eleni's Work in Advertising

Eleni has also been a part of many advertisements and campaigns. She made her first commercial in 1990 for Melita coffee. The same year, she also appeared in an ad for "Ultrex" shampoo. In 1992, she starred in commercials for "Knorr" (for Risonatto) and "To Lampero" (for soybean oil).

In 1993, she was in an ad for "Famozo" window cleaner. In 1998, she promoted the Prinos slimming center. From 2003 to 2004, she was the main face for "Lux" shampoo.

Later, from 2010 to 2011, she promoted "Olay" face cream. In 2014–2015, she joined the "Alma Zois" campaign. This campaign helps prevent breast cancer. From 2015 to 2019, she worked with "L'Oréal Paris Greece" for hair dyes. Since 2018, she has also worked with "Fage" for their "Ageladitsa" yogurt.

Eleni's Family Life

Eleni Menegaki has been married three times and has four children. Her children are from her second and third marriages.

When she was 20, Eleni married Stavros Garderis, a Greek shop owner. They divorced one year later.

In 2001, Eleni married Giannis Latsios. He used to manage programs at ANT1. On November 15, 2002, they had their first child, a son named Aggelos-Ioannis. On February 9, 2005, their second child, a daughter named Laura, was born. Three years later, on January 28, 2008, their third child, Valeria, was born. In January 2010, Eleni announced that she and Giannis were getting divorced.

In 2010, Eleni started dating Makis Pantzopoulos, a Greek businessman. On March 29, 2015, she gave birth to their daughter, Marina. Eleni and Makis got married in the same year.
