Mihalis Rakintzis (Μιχάλης Ρακιντζής in Greek) is a famous singer from Greece. He was born in Athens on April 3, 1957. Before becoming a solo artist, he studied Mechanical Engineering in the United Kingdom.

From 1982 to 1985, Mihalis was part of a rock band called Scraptown. They released three albums and a maxi-single. After Scraptown broke up, Mihalis Rakintzis began his successful career as a solo singer.
