Eli Goree is a Canadian actor born on May 26, 1994. He is famous for playing different characters in popular TV shows and movies. You might know him as Wells Jaha from The 100. He also played Joel Goodson in Dead of Summer. Eli Goree was also Cassius Clay in the movie One Night in Miami.... From 2018 to 2020, he had a role as Munroe "Mad Dog" Moore in the TV series Riverdale.
About Eli Goree
Eli Goree grew up in Halifax, Canada. His mother raised him. He started acting when he was only six years old. His first acting job was on Sesame Park. This was the Canadian version of the famous show Sesame Street.
In 2003, Eli hosted a radio show called The Big Black Rap Show. It was on a college radio station. Later, in 2006, he became a host for the last season of the TV show Street Cents. This show was on CBC. Around the same time, he also worked as a journalist for Canada Now.
Eli Goree finished high school at Prince Andrew High School.
From 2007 to 2009, he played Malik in the TV series Da Kink in My Hair. He also appeared in another TV show called Soul.
Eli also acted on stage. In 2009, he played the main character, Jake, in a play. The play was called Secrets of a Black Boy.
Between 2010 and 2013, Eli Goree appeared in several TV shows. He was in Pure Pwnage. He also had guest roles in shows like Supernatural and Emily Owens, M.D.. He was in the mini-series Eve of Destruction. Eli also appeared in the police show Motive.
In 2014, he got a big role in The 100. He played Wells Jaha, one of the main characters in the first season.
His first important role in a movie was in 2016. It was a sports drama film called Race.
Eli Goree played Joel in the horror drama show Dead of Summer. He was one of the main characters.
More recently, he played Conner Penske in the science fiction series The Peripheral. Conner was a war veteran who had lost a limb.
