Ella Nelson, born on May 10, 1994, is an Australian athlete. She used to be a professional sprinter. Her main race was the 200 metres.

Ella competed for Australia in many big events. These included the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Scotland. She also ran at the World Championships in China and the World Championships in London.

A big moment for Ella was the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. She ran the 200 metres race there. She set her personal best time of 22.50 seconds in the semi-finals. She finished 9th overall, which was a great achievement!

Ella was also a champion in Australia. She won the Australian 200m championship three times. This was in 2014, 2015, and 2016. She is the 6th fastest Australian woman ever in the 200m race. Ella stopped competing professionally in January 2021.
