Elliot John Bunney (born December 11, 1966) is a former athlete from Scotland. He was a very fast runner, mostly competing in the 100-meter sprint. Elliot won a silver medal for Great Britain at the 1988 Summer Olympics in the 4x100 meter relay race. He also earned a bronze medal for Scotland at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in the same relay event.

Elliot Bunney's Athletic Career
Elliot Bunney started his career with great success. He won the AAA Junior championships in both 1984 and 1985. He was also the Scottish 100-meter champion many times. He won this title in 1985, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1992, and 1993.
He also won two Scottish 60-meter indoor titles. These wins happened in 1992 and 1993. In 1985, Elliot made history. He was the first athlete to win sprint titles in three different levels in a row. He won at Scottish schools, junior, and senior levels in successive weeks.
Junior European Championships Success
In 1985, Elliot won two gold medals for Great Britain. This was at the 1985 European Athletics Junior Championships. The event took place in Cottbus, which was then in East Germany.
- He won the 100-meter race with a time of 10.38 seconds. He beat Endre Havas from Hungary. John Regis, also from Great Britain, finished third.
- Elliot was also part of the winning 4x100 meter relay team.
