Ema Horvath is an American actress. She has been in several movies like Like.Share.Follow. (2017) and The Mortuary Collection (2019). Since 2022, she has played Eärien in the fantasy TV show The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Eärien is the sister of Isildur in the series.

About Ema's Early Life

Ema H. Horvath grew up in the United States. Her parents are from Slovakia. Ema started acting when she was only five years old. Her very first role was playing a tulip in a local play!

She studied acting for two years at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Later, she went to Harvard University. There, she earned a degree in English literature. One of her first roles at Harvard was playing Katerina in a play called The Taming of the Shrew. Ema finished Harvard in 2016. She then started her acting career right away. She had already gotten her first movie role in Like.Share.Follow.

Ema's Acting Career

Ema's first movie role was as a character named Shell. This was in the 2017 horror film Like.Share.Follow.. The movie first showed at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival. In 2019, Ema got a main role as Auna Rue. This was in the scary movie The Gallows Act II.

In the same year, Ema also starred in The Mortuary Collection. This was another horror movie that was shown at a film festival. In 2020, she continued acting in horror films. She played a 16-year-old in What Lies Below. That same year, Ema was also in the TV series Don't Look Deeper.

In 2022, Ema joined the cast of a big fantasy TV show. It is called The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. This show is based on the famous books by J. R. R. Tolkien. Ema plays a character named Eärien. Eärien is from a place called Númenor. She is the sister of Isildur and the daughter of Elendil. Ema's character, Eärien, is not in the original books. But Ema was excited to learn all about Tolkien's world. She even talked with fans of the series. Ema went to the big premieres for the show in New York and London.
