Starting His Music Career
Emanuel began releasing his music in 2020. His songs often share messages of hope and understanding.
"Need You" and Helping Others
His very first song, "Need You", came out in April 2020. This song became special because its music video was made in a unique way. Famous actor Idris Elba asked people on social media to share pictures and videos of things that were helping them feel better during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emanuel used these real-life moments to create a video that showed how people were coping and finding strength.

Emanuel has released several music projects that have earned him nominations for important awards.

In June 2020, Emanuel released his first collection of songs, an EP (which stands for "Extended Play," a shorter album) called Alt Therapy Session 1: Disillusion. Later that year, in December, he released another EP, Alt Therapy Session 2: Transformation.
In 2021, he released his first full-length album, simply titled Alt Therapy. This album included songs from both of his earlier EPs. It was released by Motown Records, a very famous record label. This album was also nominated for a Juno Award in 2022, for Traditional R&B/Soul Recording.

Emanuel has been nominated for a Juno Award twice. His EP Alt Therapy Session 1: Disillusion was nominated in 2021. Then, his full album Alt Therapy received another nomination in 2022. These nominations show that his music is recognized as some of the best R&B and soul music in Canada.
