The Embassy of Denmark in London is like Denmark's official home in the United Kingdom. It's also known as the Royal Danish Embassy. This important building helps keep strong connections between Denmark and the UK.
It's in a big, modern building designed by a famous Danish architect named Arne Jacobsen. This building was finished in 1977 and is also home to the Embassy of Iceland. Inside, you'll find the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce, which helps businesses from Denmark and the UK work together. It started in 1989. Since 2002, it also hosts a special office for the Faroes in London.
In 2006, some people gathered outside the embassy to show their strong feelings about a newspaper story. These gatherings were related to a controversy about cartoons published in a Danish newspaper.
