Emily Iris Robins was born on May 21, 1989. She is an actress and singer from New Zealand. Emily was born in London, England, but she grew up in New Zealand. She lived in a town called Orewa.
Emily is famous for her roles in popular TV shows. She played Claire Simone Solomon in the TV2 soap opera Shortland Street. She was also Scarlett Carlyle in the teen drama SLiDE.
Emily got her role in Shortland Street by auditioning while she was still in high school. For her acting, she won a TV Guide 'Best on the Box' People's Choice Award in 2005. She left the show in July 2007.
In 2007, Emily acted in a play called The Crucible by Arthur Miller. This play was performed in Auckland, New Zealand. She played the character named Susannah.
Becoming a Princess on TV
In 2008, Emily Robins was chosen for the main role in an Australian children's TV show. It was called The Elephant Princess. She played the main character, Alexandra Wilson. This show was very popular and ran for two seasons. In the United Kingdom, the show's name was changed to The Rock Princess.
