Early Life and Family
Emiliano Giambelli was born in Vimercate, a town in Lombardy, Italy. His mother was from Palermo, and she worked as a metalworker. His father was also a musician.
Emis Killa has a daughter named Perla Blue and a son named Romeo. He is in a relationship with Martina Bottiglieri, a fashion model and designer.
Music Career Beginnings
Emis Killa started making music when he was young. In 2007, at just 17 years old, he won a freestyle rap competition in Italy called TecnichePerfette. This win helped him get noticed in the music world.
He worked with an independent music company called Blocco Recordz. With them, he released his first mixtape, Keta Music, in 2009. This was followed by the album Champagne e Spine in 2010.
Rising to Fame
In 2011, Emis Killa released another mixtape called The Flow Clocker vol. 1. His album L'erba cattiva came out in 2012 and became very popular.
One of the songs from L'erba cattiva was "Parole di ghiaccio" (meaning "Cold words"). The music video for this song was a huge hit online. It quickly gained millions of views, setting a new record for Italian music videos at the time.

On 12 July 2013, Emis Killa released the song "Vampiri". This song was a preview of his second studio album, Mercurio. The music video for "Vampiri" was also very successful.
In 2020, Emis Killa teamed up with another rapper, Jake La Furia, to release a joint album called 17.

Emis Killa was announced as one of the artists who would compete in the Sanremo Music Festival 2025. He was going to perform the song "Demoni". However, he later decided to withdraw from the competition.
