Emmett is located along Elk Creek. You can find it about 4.8 miles (7.7 kilometers) southeast of a town called Man. It's also near County Route 11/1 and the CSX Railroad, which is a big train track. For a long time, Emmett even had its own post office, but it closed on March 7, 1998.
