Encanto Village is one of 15 special areas that make up the big City of Phoenix in Arizona. It's like a smaller community within the larger city. This village includes the busy midtown and uptown areas of Phoenix. It's also home to the popular Encanto neighborhood, which is where the village gets its name. Back in 2010, about 54,614 people lived in Encanto Village.

Where is Encanto Village Located?

Encanto Village is right in the middle of Phoenix. It's about 8 square miles big, making it the smallest urban village in the city. Because it's small but has many people, it's also one of the most crowded areas.

The western edge of the village is marked by the I-17 Black Canyon Freeway. To the south, you'll find McDowell Road. The Grand Canal forms the northern and eastern borders of Encanto Village.
