About Enda Wyley
Her Life and Education
Enda Wyley was born in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, in 1966. Today, she lives in Dublin, the capital city of Ireland.
Before becoming a full-time writer, Enda worked as a primary school teacher for twenty years. She earned her teaching degree, called a B.Ed., from the Marino Institute of Education in Dublin. Later, she went on to study creative writing and received a master's degree (M.A.) from Lancaster University.
Enda Wyley is married to Peter Sirr, who is also a well-known poet. They have one daughter together.
Her Writing Career
Enda Wyley writes different kinds of books. She is famous for her poetry, which are collections of poems. She also writes exciting stories especially for children.
She has been a "Poet-at-Work" at the Coombe Maternity Hospital in Dublin. This means she shared her poetry and writing with people there. She also served as a "Writer in Residence" at the Marino Institute, where she helped and inspired other writers.
