The Energy Centre is a really tall building in New Orleans, Louisiana. It has 39 floors and stands about 530 feet high! This amazing skyscraper was designed by a company called HKS, Inc.. It's one of the tallest buildings around, ranking as the fourth tallest in New Orleans and all of Louisiana.
Right next to the main tower, there's a four-story parking garage. You can get into this garage from Loyola Avenue and South Rampart Street.
Building History
The Energy Centre was finished in 1984. In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina caused some minor damage to the building. A few windows near the top broke, but these were mostly fake windows covering the air conditioning. The ceilings outside on the street level were also damaged. Luckily, all the damage has since been fixed.
