Enkyū (延久) was a special name for a period of time in Japanese history, like how we name different eras today. It's called a Japanese era name (年号,, nengō). The Enkyū period came after an era called Jiryaku and before an era called Jōhō.

This time period started in April 1069 and finished in August 1074. During the Enkyū era, two emperors ruled Japan: Go-Sanjō-tennō (後三条天皇) and Shirakawa-tennō (白河天皇).
