Sir Arthur Eric Courtney Drake (born November 29, 1910 – died October 31, 1996) was an important English businessman. He was known for his work in the oil industry. Sir Eric, as he was often called, served as the fifth chairman of British Petroleum (BP). This is a very large oil and gas company. He led the company from 1969 to 1975.
