Eric McWoods, born on October 21, 1995, is an American professional soccer player. He plays as a forward for the NIFL Premiership club Cliftonville.

Eric McWoods' Soccer Journey
Early Life and School Soccer
Eric McWoods grew up in St. Louis, USA. He started playing soccer when he was eight years old. His parents encouraged him to play soccer instead of American football.
He played soccer for four years at Kirkwood High School. During his time there, he set amazing school records:
- He scored 5 goals in one game.
- He scored 40 goals in one season.
- He scored 87 goals in his entire high school career.
In his final year of high school, Eric was named an All-American. He also won the NHSCAA Missouri State Offensive Player of the Year award. Besides soccer, he also played basketball and ran track and field.
Playing for Different Clubs
Eric McWoods has played for several soccer clubs around the world.
Narva Trans (Estonia)
In January 2019, Eric joined Narva Trans, a club in Estonia. He helped his team win the Estonian Cup in the 2018–19 season. This was a big achievement for the team!
On July 21, 2019, Eric scored three goals in one game (a hat-trick) against Tulevik. Narva Trans won that game 3–2. Because of his great performance in July, he was named the Player of the Month for July in the 2019 Meistriliiga season.
Winning the Estonian Cup also meant Eric and Narva Trans got to play in the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League. They played against Budućnost from Montenegro. Narva Trans lost the match over two games with a total score of 6–1.
ZTE (Hungary)
In January 2020, Eric moved to Hungary to play for ZTE in the NB I league.
Balzan (Malta)
Later in 2020, Eric joined Balzan, a club in the Maltese Premier League.
Finn Harps (Ireland)
After a short time playing in Jordan for Al-Aqaba, Eric moved to Ireland. He joined Finn Harps for the 2022 season in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
Sandviken (Sweden)
On March 2, 2023, Eric signed with Sandvikens IF, a team in Sweden.
Cliftonville (Northern Ireland)
After taking a year off from playing, Eric McWoods signed with NIFL Premiership club Cliftonville on January 30, 2025.
