Eric C. Williams (born July 17, 1972) is an American former professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1995 to 2007. During his career, he played for seven different teams. He even had two separate times playing for the Boston Celtics.

Eric Williams' Basketball Journey
Eric Williams started his college basketball journey at a few different schools. He played at Burlington County College in New Jersey, then Vincennes University in Indiana. He finished his college career at Providence College in Rhode Island.
Joining the NBA: Boston Celtics
In 1995, Eric was chosen by the Boston Celtics in the NBA draft. He was the 14th player picked overall. He is 6 feet 8 inches tall and played as a small forward. He played with the Celtics for two years.
Moving to Denver and Back to Boston
In 1997, Eric was traded to the Denver Nuggets. Soon after, he had a serious knee injury. He tore a ligament in his right knee, which kept him from playing most of the 1997–98 season. The next season, he returned but only played 38 games for Denver.
Later, the Nuggets traded him back to the Boston Celtics. He played for the Celtics again for more than four seasons.
Playing for Other NBA Teams
In 2003, Eric was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. After playing 50 games with them, he became a free agent. This means he could sign with any team he wanted.
He then signed with the New Jersey Nets for the 2004–05 season. He was soon part of a big trade. The Nets sent him and other players to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for star player Vince Carter.
In 2006, Eric was traded to the San Antonio Spurs. He played there for a short time. In 2007, he was traded again, this time to the Charlotte Bobcats. He was later released by the Bobcats.
Eric Williams finished his NBA career with good averages. He scored about 8.6 points, grabbed 3.3 rebounds, and made 1.4 assists per game.
Life Beyond the Court
After his basketball career, Eric Williams appeared on a reality TV show called Basketball Wives. He was on the show for several seasons. He also acted in a movie called The Caribbean Heist in 2013. In 2015, Eric was featured in a painting by Pops Peterson. The painting was inspired by a famous artwork called "Freedom from Fear" by Norman Rockwell.
