Erin Bell (born 30 April 1987) is a famous former Australian netball player. She started her amazing career in 2005. Erin played for the Sydney Swifts in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. She made history by being the first player to win three major championships. She won her first championship with the New South Wales Swifts in 2008. Then, she won two more with the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2010 and 2013.

Erin Bell: A Netball Star

Erin Bell is known for her skill and dedication in netball. She played in different attacking positions. These included Goal Attack (GA), Goal Shooter (GS), and Wing Attack (WA). Her ability to play multiple roles made her a very valuable player. She was a key part of many winning teams.

Playing in the ANZ Championship

Erin Bell played for the New South Wales Swifts for the first two years of the ANZ Championship. This was a big netball league. She wanted more time on the court to play. So, in 2010, she moved to the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

Joining the Thunderbirds was a great move for Erin. She helped them win a championship right away. She played as Goal Attack in the Grand Final match. Erin stayed with the Thunderbirds for many years. She even became their captain in 2016.

Moving to Super Netball

In 2017, a new netball league started called Suncorp Super Netball. Erin Bell continued to play for the Adelaide Thunderbirds. She was still their captain. However, the team had a tough season that year. They finished last in the league.

After that season, Erin decided to join a new team. She moved to the Collingwood Magpies. There, she played an important role as a goal attack and shooter. She played alongside another great player, Caitlin Thwaites. Erin Bell announced she was retiring from professional netball at the end of the 2018 season.

Representing Australia: The Diamonds

Erin Bell also played for Australia's national netball team. They are called the Australian Netball Diamonds. She first played for them in 2011. This was during the 2011 Netball World Cup in Singapore.

Erin helped Australia win the 2011 Constellation Cup title. This was a big series against the Silver Ferns from New Zealand. She stepped in during the final match and helped her team win.

In 2014, Erin was chosen to be a co-captain. This was for the Australian Fast5 team. Fast5 is a faster, shorter version of netball. She played in the Fast5Netball World Series in Auckland. She also played for the Fast5 team again in 2016. Erin worked hard to get back into the main Diamonds team. She was selected for the 2015 Netball World Cup in Sydney.
