Eros Genc Grezda (born on April 15, 1995) is a professional footballer from Albania. He plays as a winger, which means he plays on the sides of the field to help attack and score goals. He last played for the Croatian club Rudeš and also represents the Albania national team.

Early Life and Youth Football
Eros Grezda was born in Gjakova, which is now part of Kosovo. He grew up in the capital city of Pristina. He is the third child in his family.
Starting His Football Journey
Eros began playing football at a young age. He started his career at Prishtina when he was 9 years old. He played there until he was 15. After that, he briefly moved to Rabotnički.
Moving to Dinamo Zagreb
While playing at Rabotnički, scouts from Dinamo Zagreb noticed his talent. He soon moved to their academy. He spent one year playing with their under-17 team.
Club Career Highlights
Eros Grezda has played for many different football clubs throughout his career. He has played in countries like Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Scotland, and Hungary.
First Senior Games in Austria and Slovenia
In 2012, Eros moved to Austria. He joined the reserve team of Grazer AK. He only played in two games there before moving on. In 2013, he moved to Slovenia. He signed with NK Aluminij, a team in the second division. He played for Aluminij for about a year and a half. During this time, he played in 29 games and scored 6 goals. In January 2015, he moved up to the top Slovenian league. He joined NK Zavrč.
Playing for Lokomotiva in Croatia
On July 9, 2015, Grezda joined Lokomotiva in the top Croatian league. He quickly made an impact. On December 23, 2015, he scored two goals against Slaven Belupo. Lokomotiva won that game 3–0, and Eros was named the best player of the week. He scored another two goals against Osijek in February 2016. He scored the first and last goals in a 3–1 victory.
In April 2016, he was chosen for the team of the week. On May 8, 2016, he scored his ninth goal of the season. This was in a derby match against Zagreb, which Lokomotiva won 2–0. In February 2017, he helped his teammate score a goal against Osijek. Lokomotiva won that game 2–0. A few weeks later, he scored a goal and earned a penalty kick against Cibalia. Lokomotiva won 4–1. The next week, he scored again in a derby against Dinamo Zagreb.
Time at Osijek
On May 25, 2017, Grezda moved to Osijek. This move allowed him to play in the UEFA Europa League, a big European club competition. On July 13, 2017, he scored his first goal in a UEFA club competition. This was against the Swiss team Luzern, and Osijek won 2–0. In the next game against Luzern, he helped set up a goal. Osijek moved on to the next round. On September 9, 2017, he scored his first league goal for Osijek. It was a very important goal in the 93rd minute, giving Osijek a 2–1 win against Hajduk Split. Because of his great performance, he was again chosen as the best player of the week.
Playing for Rangers in Scotland
On August 31, 2018, Eros Grezda signed a four-year contract with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. This was a big move to a famous club.
In September 2019, Rangers' manager, Steven Gerrard, stated that Grezda would not play for the club again. This decision came after an incident during a youth team match where Grezda was involved in a disagreement with an opposing player. After an investigation, Grezda was fined for his behavior. He had not played for the Rangers first team since April 2019.
Returning to Osijek and Other Clubs
On January 6, 2020, Grezda returned to his former club, Osijek. He later played for Šibenik in Croatia and Manisa in Turkey.
In February 2023, Grezda signed a contract with Zalaegerszeg in Hungary. He had played for this club before on loan. He also played for Partizani Tirana in Albania and Rudeš in Croatia.
International Career
Eros Grezda has played for his country, Albania, at both youth and senior levels.
Playing for Albania Under-21 Team
Eros is from Kosovo, but he wanted to play for Albania. In August 2014, he was called up to the Albania under-21s. He made his debut for the Albania U21 team on October 8, 2014, in a friendly match against Romania U21.
At first, he did not have Albanian citizenship, which meant he could not play in official matches. However, he received Albanian citizenship on March 31, 2016. After that, he was able to play in important qualification matches for the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He played against Greece U21 in September 2016.
Playing for the Senior Albania Team
Grezda received his first call-up to the Albania senior team in October 2016. This was for matches in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification. He was a substitute in those games but did not play.
He made his first official senior debut for Albania on March 24, 2017. This was against Italy, and he came on as a substitute in the 87th minute. He scored his first international goal for Albania on November 13, 2017, in a friendly match against Turkey. Albania won that game 3–2.
