Eshpeu, California facts for kids
Eshpeu (in the Yurok language, it's called 'Espew ) was once a village where the Yurok people lived. It was located in Humboldt County, California.
This historic settlement was found at a place called Gold Bluff. It was situated right between the mouths of two important rivers: the Klamath River and Redwood Creek. Today, a body of water known as Espa Lagoon is located close to where Eshpeu used to be.
