España Boulevard facts for kids
España Boulevard is a very important road in Manila, which is the capital city of the Philippines. It has 8 lanes, with 4 lanes going in each direction. This busy road starts at a large roundabout called a traffic circle where Quezon City and Manila meet. It then ends at a Y-shaped intersection where Lerma Street and Nicanor B. Reyes Street come together in Manila. The boulevard is named after the Spanish word for Spain. Spain was the country that ruled the Philippines for 333 years before it became independent.
