Esquivias is a small town, also known as a municipality, located in the province of Toledo in Spain. It's part of the Castile-La Mancha region. As of 2023, about 5,778 people live there.
This town is famous because the well-known Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes once lived here. He moved to Esquivias in 1584 after marrying Catalina de Salazar y Palacios, who was from the village.
