Eticuera Creek is a stream located in northern Napa County, California. It is one of the four main streams that flow into Lake Berryessa. The other three are Pope Creek, Capell Creek, and Putah Creek.
About Eticuera Creek
Eticuera Creek is an important stream in the area. It helps fill Lake Berryessa, which is a large reservoir. A reservoir is like a big artificial lake that stores water.
Where the Water Comes From
Eticuera Creek collects water from a large area of land called a watershed. This watershed is about 53 square miles (137 square kilometers) in size. A watershed is an area where all the rain and snowmelt drain into a specific river, lake, or ocean. The creek generally flows from north to south.
A Look Back in Time
The upper parts of the Eticuera Creek watershed once had a mining town called Knoxville. This town is no longer active today.
