Eubulus was a younger son of John le Strange and Alianora de Montz.

His Family and Marriage

In 1324, Eubulus married Alice de Lacy, Countess of Lincoln. She was a very important noblewoman of her time. Eubulus and Alice did not have any children together.

Eubulus le Strange was known as a very capable and reliable military officer. He served King Edward III with great loyalty and skill. His abilities made him a trusted advisor and leader in the king's army.

His Final Campaign

Eubulus died on 8 September 1335. He passed away while serving his country during a military campaign. This campaign was part of the Second War of Scottish Independence, a long conflict between England and Scotland.

After his death, his nephew, Roger le Strange, 4th Baron Strange of Knockyn, became his heir.
