Eugenio Nasarre Goicoechea (born March 2, 1946 – died January 27, 2024) was a Spanish politician. He was born in the city of Madrid.
Nasarre held important roles in Spain's government and public broadcasting. He was a member of the People's Party.
Early Career
In 1982, Eugenio Nasarre became the Director General of RTVE. RTVE is the main public broadcasting company in Spain. It runs television and radio channels for the country.
Political Career
Eugenio Nasarre served in the Congress of Deputies from 2000 to 2015. The Congress of Deputies is like the main parliament in Spain. It is where laws are made and important decisions for the country are discussed.
