Eva Charlotte Dahlgren (born on June 9, 1960) is a famous Swedish pop musician. She is known for writing and singing her own songs.
Eva's Music Career
Eva Dahlgren started her music journey in 1978. A musician and producer named Bruno Glenmark discovered her after she appeared on a TV show. Her first album, Finns det nån som bryr sej om, came out that same year.
In 1979, Eva took part in Melodifestivalen. This is a big music competition in Sweden that chooses who will represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. She finished in third place!
Eva's career grew steadily through the 1980s. She released several albums and even toured Sweden in 1987 with the popular Swedish pop duo Roxette. More than 100,000 people came to watch their concerts!
Her biggest success in Sweden came in 1991 with her album En blekt blondins hjärta. This album sold over half a million copies and helped her win five Grammis awards. The Grammis awards are like the Grammy Awards in Sweden, celebrating the best in music.
Eva also composed the music for the film Ingrid Bergman: In My Own Words in 2015.

In 1996, Eva Dahlgren married jewellery designer Efva Attling. They had met years earlier when Eva moved to Stockholm. In 2009, they had a marriage ceremony.
