Roxette was a famous Swedish pop music group. It started in 1986. The band had two main members: Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson.
One of their most popular songs was "It Must Have Been Love". It was first released as a Christmas song in 1987. Later, in 1990, it became a regular hit song.
In 1991, Roxette released a very popular album called Joyride. They went on a huge tour around the world for this album. They played 107 concerts! Other well-known songs by Roxette include "The Look" and "Listen To Your Heart".
Roxette was especially popular in South America and Europe. The band stopped performing in December 2019. This was after Marie Fredriksson passed away from brain cancer.
